Symphony Services International is thrilled to be associated with the Australian Singing Competition, one of the country’s most prestigious competitions for singers. The Symphony Australia Young Vocalist Award offers a cash prize and performance opportunity with one of Australia’s major symphony orchestras.
Congratulations Emma Moore, winner of the 2011 Marianne Mathy Scholarship and the Symphony Australia Young Vocalist Award.
The IFAC Australian Singing Competition 2011 Finals were held on Sunday 30 October at the Sydney Opera House. There were record numbers in attendance with standing room only and high praise from patrons. Emma also the Audience Prize with her beautiful performance of the Mozart concert aria Vorrei, spiegarvi, O Dio and Ah! non credea mirarti from Bellini’s La sonnambula.
