Genevieve Lang brings music to audiences, and audiences to music.

Her early career was as a freelance harpist with several of Australia’s major orchestras, in recital with colleagues and friends, as a founding member of SHE (Seven Harp Ensemble), and as teacher and mentor to young musicians. This broad field of experience from the ‘coalface’ of performance has since been supplemented by Genevieve’s completion of the Symphony Australia Artistic Administration Traineeship, which involved working with the artistic administrations of all of Australia’s state orchestras.

Uniquely equipped with insights into the performance, presentation and administration of orchestral music, Genevieve uses these combined skills to bring more audiences to classical music through:

• Concert and/or event planning
• Audience development including education (youth and adult) and advocacy
• Communications including media, web copy, newsletters
• Music presentation including pre-concert talks and broadcasting
