Haydn has worked in both the information technology and arts industries for the past 20 years. As well as holding a Graduate Diploma in Applied Information Systems and a Masters of Business in Information Technology he has undergraduate qualifications in Education as well as Art and Design.

Before founding imuse information systems and artadata software, Haydn worked variously as an IT Manager, educator, librarian, data manager, programmer, Web producer, business analyst and executive producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Cinemedia (ACMI), and Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Haydn has been the Federal Unit Manager of ABC’s Live Music Unit and represented ABC Classic FM on the ABC Radio state executive (Victoria); Executive Producer of Victorian Government Multimedia Projects at Cinemedia (now Australian Centre for Moving Image), and Senior Business Analyst with the Web division of Sausage Software, the largest software producer in Australasia at the time.

Since 2001, Haydn has been the Executive Director of imuse; a company dedicated to providing business and information management advice to performing arts organisations. Haydn is also senior partner of artadata software a reseller of software designed for the performing arts including the datafest and datamuse software products developed by imuse. Recent work has included the IT and Production Information Systems Review at Orchestra Victoria and development of datafest for the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts.
