Kim Hanna is an independent arts consultant based in Sydney.
He is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, The University of Technology Sydney and the University of New England.
For 11 years he worked at the Australia Council for the Arts primarily in the Theatre and Market Development sections. In addition he was acting manager of the New Media, Dance and the Community Cultural Development Boards. These roles have provided him with an excellent knowledge of government funding agencies and their requirements. His report writing and project management skills were also developed during this time.
He was formerly Artistic Director of Big Ensemble, Unley Youth Theatre (now Urban Myth Theatre of Youth) and the Melbourne University Student Union Theatre Department.
Currently he provides General Manager services to Art Month Sydney, an audience development strategy for the commercial gallery sector.
