Passionate about music and the arts, Trevor Green is a managing director with over 30 years of experience in large ‘not-for-profit’ music organisations in the public and private domain in both Australia and the UK.
He has a thorough understanding of orchestral music and culture, artistic issues and drivers, and a deep understanding and interest in organisational change, including contract reform. He has strong interest and experience in the strategic development of the tertiary music sector and in the development of young professional musicians and the next generation of administrators.
His skills in mentoring aspiring managers both in and out of the arts industry are evident in many of the young arts managers around Australia and the UK. He has had long working relationships with government (the Australia Council, UK Arts Council, Victorian government) at ministerial and government agency levels.
