Program notes

“Being able to absorb a concert is a wonderful experience and when I understand the background to the composition of a piece of music and how it fits in historically, it becomes a far richer occasion. Good program notes not only inform a performance, they can also become a great momento.”

Mary Borland, Sydney Symphony concert goer.

Symphony Services International’s extensive selection of high quality up-to-date Program Notes is available for reprinting at a cost-effective price.  Notes can be supplied at various lengths for reprinting.

This service includes supplying over 3,500 Program Notes, the commissioning and/or writing of new notes, editing of existing notes as well as maintenance of many of the Members’ archival program materials.

Symphony Services International maintains a relationship with top music writers, regularly commissioning notes about repertoire, both popular and rarely performed.  Learn more about our writers from our Writers Hub – link.
